Oh Baby, Baby

Yesterday we were playing at the park when Hadlee started crying, and we all know how children are always getting hurt. Well and lets face it, I am not big on the sympathy either. I replied to this with my usual "suck it up soldier", usually Hadlee responds to this by, well, sucking it up. But at this point she was screaming, so I walked over to her. When I got over there and she looked up at me she was covered in blood all over her head and her face. (I wanted to run away) I yell at my friends that there is blood and the chaos starts, I am freaking! Picking my child up and heading twords the car, as tristin is trying to find something to try and stop the bleeding, and Angela telling me to take her to the hospital (I mean all of this with in seconds)and this is just the basics of it, their kids are crying freaking out too and my shirt is covered in blood. As I am walking to the car and I am pretty sure at this point Angela is getting my purse that I abandoned somewhere in this chaos, Tristin is meeting me back with napkins and a sock (Hey you gotta use what you can) She tells me that head wounds bleed alot (i'd say) and that it might just be a very small thing. So she helps me get the bleeding stopped, and trying to figure out exactly what had happened. It was a pretty small gash in her head that was made by her running into the bridge (you know that connects between the different parts of a playground) When we checked it out there was parts of the metal sticking out. I wish I had a picture of all the blood to show you, but lets face it I didn't want it to get on my Camera. :-)
Oh BTW once the bleeding stopped Hadlee wanted to keep on playing and played for a couple hours probably. When we got home she was playing with Yellow and he bit her pretty good on the leg. She has been more traumatized by that than all the blood. Oh and Yellow is going to the kitty jail. I can't take anymore.
So today starts out pretty good (despite the rain) when I am getting her in the car to go to Walmart and she throws up in our driveway, thinking this might just be a fluke (Even though it was a pretty good possibility it wasn't) I proceed to wipe her off and go to walmart anyway. We get inside walmart I get her a drink, sit her in the cart and start my shopping, I have not gotten one thing in my cart when she tells me she needs to go to the bathroom, I go to get her out of the cart so I can take her and she throws up all over. Damn it, I still have to pay for the drink. So I go to the nearest checkstand tell them that my daughter threw up in the isle, and the lady hands me a big wad of paper towels. K I know that nobody wants to clean up someone elses throw up but seriously, if I didn't have to pay for the drink I would have just walked out! Argh. She has continued to have things coming out of both ends and has just been resting. Poor, poor baby girl. It has not been her best couple of days! (mine either)

Since Hadlee turned 3 on April 6, 2009, I wanted to take a minute to talk about the greatest thing that ever happened to me! Hadlee is such a loving child who is often telling myself and other loved ones they are her "best friend". I am so lucky to have such a wonderful heart in my life! I can't believe that she has been in my life for 3 years (and 9 months) it has flown by so fast and it makes me think about how soon she will grow up and I will definately miss these days, as trying as they are! I can't even imagine what I did with myself before I had Hadlee in my life, she is a true blessing!!

101 uses for laundry baskets!

Hadlee spent the day with her bff's Kaylee and Corrine. Corrine was so nice to let Hadlee take her pony home (on loan only)!! When Hadlee got home she wanted to watch a show, AND sit in the laundry basket. She fell asleep and I couldn't resist the picture!

WW-Hadlee and Corrine last spring!

Solution

Guess what? I have the solution.
Instead of using all this money to bail out all these high end car dealers ect.
Our good friend Obama should pay us to stay home with our children.
Then we can go shopping every day.
Economic problem solved!!
