I tell TT and Hadlee they can watch barney before bed, so I can give Daisha a bottle. check check, off to bed, we all pile in my bed, I rock Daisha and put her in hers, she is asleep, 1 down 2 to go!! TT's a little sad, I rub his head, tell him it's bed time, and off he goes, 2 down 1 to go (mine). I do this every night it should be easy, my lovely daughter, snuggles up to TT, puts her arm around him and pinches him, yep that's right I said pinches him, he wakes up, (owie)crying, 1 down 2 to go. After a little love, and a Hadlee be nice to TT, he falls back asleep. 2 down 1 to go. Hadlee proceeds to lay down almost falling asleep, then decides, hey this is a slumber party!! Nobody falls asleep at her slumber parties (she gets this from me, I must admit), she kicks Teigan, he wakes up. Well you get the idea, I finally get TT back to sleep, getting a little mad at Hadlee at this point, I make Sam go put her to bed! Daddy, must have the touch because she finally went to sleep.
This morning I woke up, got Hadlee in the tub, put her in a dress and told her to go tell Grandma she was ready for church. Grandpa saw her in her dress and said "we should take her with us!" Yes, score!! So this is how it happened that my daughter went to church for the first time! (besides when she was blessed, but she was only 2 months old then). Grandma said she slept through most of sacrament, but only took one piece of bread and one water. Folded her arms for the prayer, and when everyone started singing, my lovely daughter was singing with them, even though she doesn't know the words, she is very good at the whole "fake it, till you make it" routine. She looked at Grandpa and said, "Grandpa dance", and grandpa being the good sport that he is danced to the hymns. She shared (forced) her fish crackers on the little boy in front of her, and fell asleep. She loved the nursery, had a snack, sang some songs, and colored! Grandma said everyone was in love with her, and that she was very good. And momma got a 3 hour break. One 3 hour break in 2 years isn't to bad. Ha ha, OK OK I exaggerate, but not that much!!
