Growing up I never really got the jest of being a (good-**SPECTACULAR**)Homemaker. I have been doing this for 4 years and still have NO CLUE what I am doing. I am at a loss and really have no way of knowing what is coming, what is going, what is up or down. I talk to my friends or read their blogs and so many of them (you) seem to have it so together! I do realize, however, that we all have our trials and by no means do I hold anyone on a pedestal. I have just spent so much time trying to figure out how to do this for myself. Organize myself, Organize my family, get my finances worked out, teach my child like she deserves, and take care of myself and my own health and well being....ect. ect. Don't get me wrong, I think I do an ok Job. I cook dinner, clean the house, play with and teach my child and recently have been bumping myself further up on the priority list. I need to get rid of the chaos and get myself organized. I am driving myself crazy. I need some serious help. Really.

Oh Baby, Baby

Yesterday we were playing at the park when Hadlee started crying, and we all know how children are always getting hurt. Well and lets face it, I am not big on the sympathy either. I replied to this with my usual "suck it up soldier", usually Hadlee responds to this by, well, sucking it up. But at this point she was screaming, so I walked over to her. When I got over there and she looked up at me she was covered in blood all over her head and her face. (I wanted to run away) I yell at my friends that there is blood and the chaos starts, I am freaking! Picking my child up and heading twords the car, as tristin is trying to find something to try and stop the bleeding, and Angela telling me to take her to the hospital (I mean all of this with in seconds)and this is just the basics of it, their kids are crying freaking out too and my shirt is covered in blood. As I am walking to the car and I am pretty sure at this point Angela is getting my purse that I abandoned somewhere in this chaos, Tristin is meeting me back with napkins and a sock (Hey you gotta use what you can) She tells me that head wounds bleed alot (i'd say) and that it might just be a very small thing. So she helps me get the bleeding stopped, and trying to figure out exactly what had happened. It was a pretty small gash in her head that was made by her running into the bridge (you know that connects between the different parts of a playground) When we checked it out there was parts of the metal sticking out. I wish I had a picture of all the blood to show you, but lets face it I didn't want it to get on my Camera. :-)
Oh BTW once the bleeding stopped Hadlee wanted to keep on playing and played for a couple hours probably. When we got home she was playing with Yellow and he bit her pretty good on the leg. She has been more traumatized by that than all the blood. Oh and Yellow is going to the kitty jail. I can't take anymore.
So today starts out pretty good (despite the rain) when I am getting her in the car to go to Walmart and she throws up in our driveway, thinking this might just be a fluke (Even though it was a pretty good possibility it wasn't) I proceed to wipe her off and go to walmart anyway. We get inside walmart I get her a drink, sit her in the cart and start my shopping, I have not gotten one thing in my cart when she tells me she needs to go to the bathroom, I go to get her out of the cart so I can take her and she throws up all over. Damn it, I still have to pay for the drink. So I go to the nearest checkstand tell them that my daughter threw up in the isle, and the lady hands me a big wad of paper towels. K I know that nobody wants to clean up someone elses throw up but seriously, if I didn't have to pay for the drink I would have just walked out! Argh. She has continued to have things coming out of both ends and has just been resting. Poor, poor baby girl. It has not been her best couple of days! (mine either)

Since Hadlee turned 3 on April 6, 2009, I wanted to take a minute to talk about the greatest thing that ever happened to me! Hadlee is such a loving child who is often telling myself and other loved ones they are her "best friend". I am so lucky to have such a wonderful heart in my life! I can't believe that she has been in my life for 3 years (and 9 months) it has flown by so fast and it makes me think about how soon she will grow up and I will definately miss these days, as trying as they are! I can't even imagine what I did with myself before I had Hadlee in my life, she is a true blessing!!

101 uses for laundry baskets!

Hadlee spent the day with her bff's Kaylee and Corrine. Corrine was so nice to let Hadlee take her pony home (on loan only)!! When Hadlee got home she wanted to watch a show, AND sit in the laundry basket. She fell asleep and I couldn't resist the picture!

Solution
Guess what? I have the solution.
Instead of using all this money to bail out all these high end car dealers ect.
Our good friend Obama should pay us to stay home with our children.
Then we can go shopping every day.
Economic problem solved!!

Complete and Utter Rubish
The last couple of days I have been cleaning the crap out of my house, the whole idea is to get all the "spring cleaning" done before spring gets here so that when it does I can play! When the sun comes out Becky wants to play, and I have plenty on my list. Well, I am wondering if maybe I shouldn't be doing this "spring cleaning" a little more often. I was really suprised to find the mess that was hiding in my house! But I have to say, I feel wonderful going to bed knowing what I accomplished today!
So, guess what? I got demoted today on myspace. Ok people I know it is just myspace, but listen, it bugs the crap out of me when I get demoted. I don't know why.
Winter is coming to an end, and Sam is back to work. Yippie! Unfortunately, this is almost as stressful as it was when he first went on layoff! Winter was soooo hard for me. It is so nice for Sam to be back to work, but they are SO slow at his work, and I am really stressing about permanent layoffs. I am REALLY REALLY trying to not worry about things until I have to, but you know!
Hadlee has been going to bed in her "big girl bed" for about a week now! She is so proud of herself (not nearly as proud as I am). She was walking around all day telling me she can't wait to tell her friends how she sleeps in her big girl bed now!
oh and my child is in love with the world!
She loves the park cause it is so parkity
and she loves walks cause they are so walkity
and she loves dogs cause they are so pettity
lol I don't know what this new language is, it's cute though.
April 6th is Hadlee's 3rd birthday, and my sister Bobbie will be having her gall bladder removed that day.
Um what else is going on?????
OHHH I am watching Idol in peace, I am sooo happy can I just say I am utterly and completely in love with DVR!!
Well I just thought I would do an update, so there it is for the moment.
Here is a picture of Hadlee and Teigan "playing" miniature golf!

A lot of blabbing...
For some reason I have found it incredibly difficult to find something to write about on this thing. I am thinking it might be because of the negative energy that flows through me on a daily basis these days (those of you that have been lucky enough to be graced with my presence know what I am talking about). But today, today I thought I would update myself and all of you lucky readers on the things that are going on in "casa de hofeling".
For starters, I just wanted to thank the higher ups that the holidays are over!! I didn't do any of the baking I had bought and planned for (so if any of you need chocolate chips, mallow fluff, coconut or the likes you know where to find it) BUT I did have alot of opportunity to spend alot of time with the people that I love. People that I am completely blessed to have in my life, people that are so wonderful to me that I don't know how I would get through life without, oh and I spent some time with other less important people too (haha jk).
Man are we really already 19 days into the new year! WOW! Well that means My daughter has been 19 days potty trained (even at night) no diapers, and only 2 accidents (ok maybe 3) but really hardly any!! I am so proud of my little pip squeak!
Sam, is really busy these days, you know he has video games to play and camping trips to make. Yup wish I was that busy....LOL
I on the other hand, am lucky to be helping in the planning of my cousins babyshower, and we have some really cute things planned out (that unfortunatly I can not share here, as I have been sworn to secrecy by my aunt, and who knows if snoopy bones will be reading this!! But I can't wait to share pictures of our creation from yesterday.....
Uh yeah I also want to be a suspense writer.....
blabby blab.....
OK what else...........
Oh man, ok maybe I should start updating this thing more often....LOL
Take it easy!!!

Thanks to autum :-)
Intelligent and kind. Your beauty goes much further than your apperance. Also, you make judgements of people based on their personality and not their looks. Attaining all the knowledge that you can is one of your major goals in life, but you are also a person who can make things happen.

Bitter-Sweet!!
Hadlee has been doing so good on the potty lately, I would say she uses it about 80% of the time during the day. In my opinion, if your child doesn't go the whole day without accidents they are not concidered potty trained. Now I am not saying that accidents will not still happen, but you need to have more 100% days than not (this of course doesn't include night time, where I believe it is a little harder), with that said I feel like Hadlee is in the process of being potty trained, but not quite there....She is doing wonderful though!! I am so proud of her. She is so good about telling me when she has to use the potty, even during parties she has told me, which I think is great!! Well here comes the bittersweet part, Hadlee woke me up 3x to use the potty last night, and only went once. I think it's good that she does this, but man I want to sleep. I wonder when the time comes when she can just do it herself....LOL. I am so proud of my little girl.
ps. I am not a professional, and these are just my opinions. It's ok, you are entitled to yours too!! :-)

You'll just have to deal with it...
I am sick of hearing these words. I am sick of "Dealing" with it. I feel like I am always dealing with people and thier bull crap! (is bullcrap one word or two, oh well, no matter!) Consistantly, I am dealing with crap, people complaining, being mad, as if they are the only ones that have that right! Well, personally, I have been dealing with all of thier stuff for a while now. And, I am done! I feel like this is such a rude thing to say when someone is voicing thier concerns. From now on if "people" have a problem, I am going to tell them, "you'll just have to deal with it". That's all, just needed to get that off of my chest! Even though I am sure no one will know what I am talking about. Feels good to say it, because in all reality, I can't say it to the person I want to say it to.

Adventures in Hofeling land

I tell TT and Hadlee they can watch barney before bed, so I can give Daisha a bottle. check check, off to bed, we all pile in my bed, I rock Daisha and put her in hers, she is asleep, 1 down 2 to go!! TT's a little sad, I rub his head, tell him it's bed time, and off he goes, 2 down 1 to go (mine). I do this every night it should be easy, my lovely daughter, snuggles up to TT, puts her arm around him and pinches him, yep that's right I said pinches him, he wakes up, (owie)crying, 1 down 2 to go. After a little love, and a Hadlee be nice to TT, he falls back asleep. 2 down 1 to go. Hadlee proceeds to lay down almost falling asleep, then decides, hey this is a slumber party!! Nobody falls asleep at her slumber parties (she gets this from me, I must admit), she kicks Teigan, he wakes up. Well you get the idea, I finally get TT back to sleep, getting a little mad at Hadlee at this point, I make Sam go put her to bed! Daddy, must have the touch because she finally went to sleep.
This morning I woke up, got Hadlee in the tub, put her in a dress and told her to go tell Grandma she was ready for church. Grandpa saw her in her dress and said "we should take her with us!" Yes, score!! So this is how it happened that my daughter went to church for the first time! (besides when she was blessed, but she was only 2 months old then). Grandma said she slept through most of sacrament, but only took one piece of bread and one water. Folded her arms for the prayer, and when everyone started singing, my lovely daughter was singing with them, even though she doesn't know the words, she is very good at the whole "fake it, till you make it" routine. She looked at Grandpa and said, "Grandpa dance", and grandpa being the good sport that he is danced to the hymns. She shared (forced) her fish crackers on the little boy in front of her, and fell asleep. She loved the nursery, had a snack, sang some songs, and colored! Grandma said everyone was in love with her, and that she was very good. And momma got a 3 hour break. One 3 hour break in 2 years isn't to bad. Ha ha, OK OK I exaggerate, but not that much!!

What's new
I know you all have been dying to know what is new with my daughter…
Well here it is.
Plain and Simple
all about Hadlee.
Well after a month of potty training boot camp, millions of dollars in pull-ups, and one pee-pee and two poo-poo's I have packed in the ol' whip and put Hadlee back in diapers. So now that she has been back in diapers for a couple weeks she has started asking to use the potty again, so maybe we will give it another shot….After we get her to stay in her own bed all night…
Yup Hadlee got a new bed, after pulling the old "I think I will throw myself out of my crib head first" stunt. I let her pick out her own sheets, and comforter for it. She of course chose The Little Mermaid. I really wanted the one with the cute little monkeys on it, she wanted The Little Mermaid more, I thought that if I let her pick them she would be more inclined to sleep in there. So let me tell you, bed time is HELL TIME around my house!! We have gotten her to go to bed in her room, however every night she ends up in our bed. At first I was really stressed about this, but as I have told some of you, I was way to overwhelmed with all of it, and decided to take it one thing at a time, so maybe next week I will start working on getting her to stay in her bed.
Hadlee just turned 2 on April 6th. And, Aunt Bobbie being the lovely Aunt that she is, gave Hadlee a Kitten. The first few days were very trying, He wasn't eating, or using the bathroom, and quite frankly I was thinking this cat was going to either die of starvation, or be murdered by my 2 year old. Although, I think she would have gotten the lesser charge of involuntary kitty slaughter. But I got the kitten to eat, and it took me very little time to get him to use the litter box, I am still a little worried about my 2 y/o being on a kitty hunt, but over all this little guy is doing really good. Hadlee, despite the fact that she smothers him absolutely adores him, and he adores her. It is funny cause every time she gets around him he starts purring like crazy. I let Hadlee name him, and what does she decide to call him? YELLOW. Yup, Yellow!!
